Our rating:

The fifth film to feature Clint Eastwood's immortal 'Dirty' Harry Callahan, The Dead Pool is a crime thriller that sees celebrities being killed in mysterious circumstances. While Harry is investigating the death of rock star Johnny Squares (Jim Carrey), who died on location filming a movie directed by Peter Swan (Liam Neeson), he begins to get suspicious. Harry discovers that Swan and several other people are playing a game called the dead pool, wherein they make a list of famous people who they think may die and place large sums of money on the outcome.

Squares was on Swan's list, as were a number of other recently deceased - and when Harry sees his own name he knows it's time to act fast. With cameos and music from Guns n' Roses.
