Our rating:

Bob Hope plays a mild-mannered stockbroker who has a problem with the truth–he never seems able to speak it. A compulsive liar, he enters a wager that he can tell the truth, and nothing but the truth, for 24 hours straight. As the stakes get higher and higher, Hope's fiancée Paulette Goddard ups the bets by placing $10,000 on his ability to be truthful.

Co-stars Bob Hope and Paulette Goddard co-starred in three films together for Paramount, even though Goddard reportedly was not fond of Hope.
