A Night to Remember | 1958 | Kenneth More, Ronald Allen

A pretty accurate re-creation of the big ship Titanic’s sinking, with Kenneth More and Robert Ayres among those trying to remain stiff-upper-lipped as the vessel goes down and the rescue is apparently bungled, with no lifeboats returned and first-class passengers taking precedence over those in steerage. Effects-wise, this is no match for James’ Cameron’s movie, but it’s still a damn site better than Raise The Titanic.
