NBC’s long-running competition series America’s Got Talent kicks off its milestone 20th season on Tuesday, May 27. The premiere episode, “Auditions 1,” will introduce a new slate of hopefuls vying for the $1 million prize. Judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel return to the panel, with Terry Crews back as host.
The initial auditions are set to feature a magician who will involve home viewers in their act, a danger act with what is described as a superhuman ability, and several performances aiming for those coveted Golden Buzzers. This season also promises an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the historic production, giving us a look into the making of the show. The two-hour premiere begins at 8:00 PM ET.
