Period action adventure series Bearcats told of the exploits of Hank Brackett and Johnny Reach who in 1914 travelled around the American Southwest in their Stutz Bearcat helping people with their problems. The twist in the show was that their fee was a blank check filled in by the pair (pretty honestly too) after they had completed the job in hand.
The pilot was called Powder Keg. The pilot made use of a real stutz bearcat but the series made do with two purpose built copies.
