Dave Kindig is revisiting his automotive roots with a challenging Volkswagen project in an upcoming episode of MotorTrend‘s Bitchin’ Rides. Titled “Back in the Club,” the installment airs Wednesday, May 21, at 9:00 PM ET.
The episode finds Kindig, owner of Salt Lake City’s Kindig-It Design, taking on what’s described as a “heap of rusty parts and a broken-down engine.” This particular VW build may prove to be a more substantial undertaking than initially anticipated for Kindig and his skilled team, who are known for their one-of-a-kind vehicle creations.
Bitchin’ Rides follows the entire custom car building process, from initial rendering and design through the intricate stages of building and restoring unique automobiles. This episode will highlight the demanding work and ultimate satisfaction involved in bringing a classic, albeit dilapidated, vehicle back to life.
