CBS News Sunday Morning Heads To New Orleans For Design-Focused Edition; Segments Also Set For Italy, Hawaii

CBS News Sunday Morning will transport viewers to New Orleans for a special design-themed installment, airing Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 9:00 AM ET on CBS. The episode, titled “By Design: A Weekend in New Orleans,” also features international reports from Italy and Hawaii.

The program’s exploration of New Orleans will see Lee Cowan examining the city’s history and the resilience of its people. Michelle Miller, co-host of CBS SATURDAY MORNING and former first lady of New Orleans, will guide viewers through iconic design elements of the city, including its distinctive ironwork and historic streetcars.
