Soap style drama series following the Stone family especially the women as they made their way in the world.

Originally a six part serial, each episode of which focused on a different female member from the same family but because of the success of that a more soapy style series followed.

There were appearances from the likes of Shane Porteous, Sigrid Thornton, Bruce Spence and Anne Haddy. The last 100 episodes were in colour.
