ITVX is set to launch its new crime thriller Code of Silence, with the first episode dropping Sunday, May 18, at 6:00 AM ET. The series centers on a Deaf woman whose exceptional lip-reading abilities draw her into a dangerous police operation.
Rose Ayling-Ellis stars as Alison Brooks, a Deaf woman recruited by DS Ashleigh Francis (Charlotte Ritchie) and DI James Marsh (Andrew Buchan) for her unique skills. Alison is tasked with covertly surveilling a formidable gang plotting a high-stakes heist, an assignment that immediately places her in jeopardy. Her situation becomes more complicated as she develops a connection with gang recruit Liam Barlow (Kieron Moore), threatening her cover and the entire investigation.
The series, written and created by Catherine Moulton and directed by Diarmuid Goggins, follows Alison as she navigates the pressures of her undercover role, family expectations, and the significant personal consequences of her choices.
