The drama of two men who walked cross the continent only to be abandoned by their base party and left to die on Cooper’s Creek.

It is the story of unbelievable hardship, heroism and tragic coincidence. The real cause of their untimely deaths remains a mystery, a probable result of the disorganisation and negligence of the part of some of the officers in the support team. To retrace the steps of these two valiant explorers Burke and Wills, and to investigate their untimely deaths, the TEN documentary team of Stuart Littlemore, David Low, Jon Gilles, Ralph Steel travelled over 2000 miles.
