Period drama series telling stories of District Nurse Megan Roberts (Nerys Hughes) in the south Wales valleys during the 1920’s and 1930’s. Megan Roberts was not just a District Nurse of the mining valleys of South Wales of course. Her role may have been medical but her caring way stretches across communities and prejudices of a tough land.

Seasons 1 and 2 episodes were 30 minutes duration with the third and final season moving to a fifty minute time slot.
