Edward II was Marlowe’s historical drama in blank verse set in the 14th century and written in 1593.
The play opened with the accession of Edward and led up to his estrangement with his French wife Queen Isabella.
The cast were all members of The Prospect Theatre Company and many of them took more than one role.
