The duo confronts a home with a truly unconventional layout, featuring a refrigerator in the living room, a non-functional kitchen, and a mysteriously walled-off fireplace. Their mission is to bring a sense of traditional order and style back to this disjointed space.
Mike will focus on establishing a practical flow to the home’s challenging structure, while Denese works to incorporate the clients’ personal style through custom finishes. The series is known for blending the original character of older, often oddly configured houses with contemporary design solutions, transforming “Frankenstein” houses into unified and livable homes.
