Foreign Affairs (ITV 1964 with Alfie Bass and Bill Fraser)

Sitcom spin off from Bootsie and Snudge in which those characters found themselves working at the British Embassy in Bosnik. Montague ‘Bootsie’ Bisley (Alfie Bass) worked as a Security Officer at the British Embassy in Bosnik whilst Snudge (Bill Fraser) thought of himself as “ambassador material” and spent much of his time bossing Bootsie around.

The characters of Bootsie and Snudge were around for a long time, they had first appeared in the popular sitcom The Army Game. This was their final outing for a decade though until a surprise revival of the Bootsie and Snudge series aired in 1974.
