Jack Hawkins | Actor | 1910-1973

Jack Hawkins was a popular actor of the 1950’s and 1960’s. Often played policemen or military (such as Gideon’s Day or The Cruel Sea) but one of his best roles was as the crooked Hyde in The League of Gentlemen. Throat cancer curtailed his career in the late 1960’s and his voice was dubbed in his final few film appearances.
