Period drama serial Jackaroo focused on Jack Simmons, a half caste,who whilst working on a farm in Western Australia falls in love with white Clare Mallory, when she falls pregnant her father is determined to split them up.

Filmed in Western Australia and on a budget of $4.5 million. The critics didn’t like it but the public did.
