Chef James Martin brings his culinary expertise to a new weekday slot with James Martin’s Midweek Menu, premiering Tuesday, May 20 at 2:00 PM GMT on ITV1. Broadcasting from his home in the Hampshire countryside, Martin is joined by guests Matt and Nicola Baker.
In the inaugural episode, Martin prepares a selection of dishes previously featured on his Saturday morning program. The menu includes minestrone soup made with organic vegetables and a chicken dish from Dipna and Gulu Anand.
Viewers can also anticipate a masterclass on knife skills. The episode will feature contributions from chefs Raymond Blanc and Daniel Clifford as Martin prepares halibut. The program is structured to include some of Martin’s popular segments from his weekend show.
