Lanigan’s Rabbi (NBC 1977, Art Carney, Bruce Solomon)

Crime drama series. Police chief Paul Lanigan and Rabbi David Small team up to solve crimes in the small town of Cameron in California. Based on the novels by Harry Kemelman and a late entry (the final one in fact) in NBC’s Mystery Movie series, it appeared roughly once a month in rotation with McCloud, Columbo and McMillan.

Art Carney’s real life daughter Barbara appeared as local journalist Bobbie Whittaker.

In the pilot episode David was played Stuart Margolin.
