Law Centre, The (ITV 1978, Suzanne Neve, Julie Peasgood)

The cases of a group of solicitors working at a law centre practice in the Midlands. The team was made up Virginia Davis, Giles Eliot, Sheila Mitchell and Randolph Obianwu. Initially there was quite a bit of hostility to the centre especially from the local council who felt it shouldn’t be receiving financial support.

The Law Centre was also another of those shows that wasn’t properly networked, the dates above relate to the ATV broadcast dates (ATV produced the show) but several regions including Anglia and Yorkshire began the show a few days earlier. These episodes aired on Monday nights at 11.00pm.

The episodes were written by Terence Feely, Alick Rowe and Jeremy Burnham.
