Discovery is bringing back Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing for its third season, kicking off with “Outback Trial by Fire” on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 8:00 PM ET. The competition series pits veteran survivalists against each other and the elements for a cash prize.
Fourteen of the franchise’s experienced participants, including familiar names like Laura, Matt, Ky, and Max, are dropped into the punishing Australian Outback. The premiere episode will see one survival legend sustain a third-degree burn, potentially leading to an early exit from the competition. Adding to the peril, deadly taipan snakes are found near the survivalists’ shelter.
In this iteration of Naked and Afraid, competitors utilize various strategies to outlast one another, testing their primitive skills to be the final person remaining.
