Channel 4’s Narrow Escapes continues its exploration of life on the UK’s canal network, featuring Halloween preparations, boating lessons, and family adventures. The thirteenth episode of the second season airs Wednesday, 21 May, at 4:00 PM GMT.
The installment follows Pat and Jill on the Leeds-Liverpool canal as they get ready for Halloween with a towpath sale. Meanwhile, in Thorne, Rachel and James take the helm of their boat Ruby under the guidance of their neighbor Kate for a driving lesson. Viewers will also join Hannah and her son George as they plan a narrowboat trip from east London to mark George’s transition to secondary school. The episode also notes an accessible mooring prototype developed by the Canal and River Trust.
