Nice Guy Eddie is a comedy-drama series that first premiered on BBC1 with a pilot episode on June 14, 2001. The series officially started on June 16, 2002, and consisted of seven episodes, each with a runtime of 60 minutes.
The show revolves around Eddie McMullen, a bumbling yet lovable private investigator from Liverpool. Alongside him is Frank, his newly discovered son from a long-forgotten affair. Eddie and Frank work together to carry out investigative work, all while dealing with the challenges of Eddie’s personal life. At home, Eddie has a wife, Ronnie, and three lively daughters.
The series was written by Johanne McAndrew, directed by Douglas Mackinnon, and produced by Paddy Higson.
