The show revolves around Eddie McMullen, a bumbling yet lovable private investigator from Liverpool. Alongside him is Frank, his newly discovered son from a long-forgotten affair. Eddie and Frank work together to carry out investigative work, all while dealing with the challenges of Eddie’s personal life. At home, Eddie has a wife, Ronnie, and three lively daughters.
