Nice Work is a drama serial that aired on BBC2 in 1989. The show, consisting of four 60-minute episodes, was written by David Lodge, produced by Chris Parr, and directed by Christopher Menaul.

The story revolves around feminist lecturer Robyn Penrose and Vic Wilcox, a self-made MD of an engineering firm. As part of a project, Robyn has to shadow Vic and they both end up learning a few things about each other’s point of view.

Warren Clarke stars as Vic Wilcox, the slobbish typical man, while Haydn Gwynne portrays Robyn Penrose, the feminist lecturer. The cast also includes Janet Dale as Marjorie Wilcox, John Forgeham as Brian Everthorpe, David Calder as Stuart Baxter, and Martin Jacobs as Charles Bennett.
