Oxygen True Crime is set to debut its new series, Unknown Serial Killers of America, on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 7:00 PM ET. The premiere episode, “Carl Watts,” will investigate the case of a slasher who confessed to some of his crimes but is alleged to have had over 100 victims.
The episode will cover the circumstances surrounding Watts and the unsettling possibility of him becoming the first serial killer ever released from prison. Central to the narrative is an eyewitness from decades prior who could be instrumental in bringing Watts to justice, particularly as Watts reportedly vowed to kill again if released.
