Drama. Joe Keyes travels home on a late train where a woman in his carriage is being pestered by two young city-types who are not taking no for an answer. He doesn’t become involved other than giving them a mild rebuke and gets off at his stop leaving them on the train.

Later he discovers the woman was raped and is racked by guilt at his ineffectualness in not helping her better when he could have.
