Period drama. In 1905, following the imprisoning of their father on trumped up spy charges, a trio of siblings move to to the country with their mother and become involved with the goings on at their local railway station.

Jenny Agutter who played the mum in this played the role of Bobbie in the much loved 1970 Lionel Jeffries cinema version as well as the 1968 TV version, see above for details of that.
