Lifetime adds another entry to its catalog of domestic thrillers this Saturday with “Secret Life of the Surgeon’s Wife.” This time, the setting isn’t a sprawling suburban mansion but the seemingly perfect world of Julia, whose suspicions about her dental surgeon husband’s fidelity lead her down a rabbit hole of dangerous secrets.
Convinced her husband is cheating, Julia sets out to gather evidence, hoping to secure a favorable position in their joint charity should they divorce. Her quest leads her to an unlikely ally – the husband of the woman she suspects is having an affair with her spouse. As they work together, their shared frustration morphs into a romantic connection, further complicating an already tangled web of relationships.
But Julia is unaware of just how dangerous her pursuit of the truth has become. Her husband and his mistress aren’t just playing games of the heart; they’re plotting murder, with both Julia and her new lover squarely in their crosshairs.
