Star Maidens (ITV 1975, Gareth Thomas, Judy Geeson)

The high camp spectacle that was scifi comedy drama series Star Maidens was a co-production by UK company Portman and the German Graefin, it followed two men, Adam and Shem, who escape to Earth from the female ruled planet Mendusa, the supreme councillor of Mendusa orders them to be caught and returned home.

Star Maidens was never fully networked across the UK but has lingered long in the memories of those who were lucky enough to see it with it’s outrageous costumes and set design, interesting mix of european and british casting and great concept.
