In Concussion Roni is left on her own in Paris after her writer husband is hospitalised following an accident, unable to speak the language she is taken under the wing of fellow writer Martin Jones who not only speaks French fluently but also offers up a strong shoulder to cry on.

When Martin turns up unexpectedly once Ronni and her husband are back in England Ronni begins to doubt just what his motives are.

A good strong early role for a pre-Poldark Robin Ellis in this Dennis Potter-ish drama.
