The Great American Recipe Sets Season 4 PBS Return With Al Roker As Guest Judge

The Great American Recipe will fire up its fourth season on PBS Friday, July 11 at 9:00 PM ET, running weekly through August 15. The culinary competition series brings back host Alejandra Ramos and judges Tiffany Derry, Timothy Hollingsworth, and Francis Lam, with a fresh batch of eight home cooks set to compete.

Al Roker is confirmed as a special guest judge for the season premiere. Another guest judge will be announced at a later date.

Season four, filmed at Green Door Gourmet in Nashville, Tennessee, will see contestants from across the U.S. preparing signature dishes that reflect their diverse backgrounds and culinary heritages. Each week, the judges will determine a winning dish based on taste, presentation, and the personal narrative behind the food. The competition culminates with the top three home cooks vying for the title in the final episode.
