Channel 5’s blue-light series The Motorway Cops: Catching Britain’s Speeders continues its seventh season with another installment on Monday, May 19 at 8:00 PM GMT, following officers as they patrol the UK’s road network.
In this episode, PCs Marc Crammond and Andy Clarke are on a stakeout at the Tyne Tunnel, targeting a vehicle with cloned plates that has accumulated nearly 600 fines. Elsewhere, PC Jamie Leslie pulls over a driver in North Shields who offers a late-night pizza run as his reason for being out.
The action also includes officers in Newcastle tracking a car linked to drug dealing, leading to the discovery of cocaine on a passenger. Viewers will also see encounters with a driver claiming dyslexia for incorrect plating and another admitting to having no insurance or license.
