Thriller: A Killer In Every Corner (ITV 1975, Patrick Magee, Joanna Pettet)

In A Killer in Every Corner a noted scientist invites three psychology students to his home/laboratory for some first hand experience of his new ideas. What they don’t realise is that he has been studying ways of reforming homicidal killers and has several of them staying with him whilst he experiments with behavoural techniques, the students also don’t realise that they are to be his guinea pigs to test if the killers have been truly cured or not!

A Killer in Every Corner is not one of the best episodes of Thriller by a long shot, there is a good cast involved (and great to see Max Wall in a non comedy role here) but there is a huge amount of over acting going on and quite frankly its all a little bit silly and stretching the bounds of believability somewhat, there are lots of glaring plot holes too although the twist ending is quite well done.
