Period drama serial. Stories of a young boy, the Tom Gratton of the title, having adventures during world war II.

The main supporting cast came and went on an episode by episode basis but guest stars included the likes of Bill Fraser, George Malpas, Rio Fanning and Jack Woolgar. Young star Michael Howe’s dad Len Howe popped up in a couple of episodes as a postman.
