The series, a consistent performer for the network, continues to draw buzz with its ensemble cast led by Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, and Tawny Cypress. Season 3 saw notable guest turns from actors including Elijah Wood and Hilary Swank.
Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson are the creators of the survival saga, and they executive produce alongside Jonathan Lisco. Lionsgate Television and Creative Engine are the studios behind the series.
The pickup follows a strong Season 3, with a Paramount Global executive highlighting that the latest run surpassed previous viewership records. The exec also pointed to the show’s successful and unique alchemy of psychological horror, survival thriller, and coming-of-age story as a key driver of its continued audience engagement.
The forthcoming fourth season of Yellowjackets is slated to premiere on the Paramount+ streaming service.
